Your Accountabilities: Provides leadership, guidance, and direction for the day-to-day Production activities within the shift, as well as related teams to ensure safety, operational efficiency, resource utilization, cost effectiveness and quality goals are achieved. Actively mentors, coaches, develops,

and counsels employees so that they are continually growing in their skillsets and able to be accountable for their growing job functions. Ensures Standard Operating and Safety Procedures are always current and being followed.

Collaborates and communicates with employees to maintain and achieve hourly targets (KPI) and quality ratings (quality & output goals). Responsible for manning sheet / coordinating where employees are needed, along with some scheduling of work orders to meet production demands. Driver of maintaining 5S standards within the department/area. Collaborates with other departments (ie. maintenance, quality) on troubleshooting equipment issues, scrap issues, etc. to ensure

optimal operational efficiency within the department/area. Completes production reports and hourly production boards to ensure these are current, accurate and reported on time.

Position Requirements: Education: High School Diploma Experience: 3+ years of progressive Production Supervision experience within a heavy manufacturing environment. Prior experience with pneumatic tools, overhead crane, and forklift operation helpful. Functional Skills: High Safety mindset, good at planning, organization, and driving goals, policies, and standards, forward-thinking, prioritization, and project management skills are also important. Foundational understanding of Quality Systems, Lean thinking, and 5S preferred.

Technology Aptitude/Skills : MS Office products; experience with ERP systems would be helpful Language Skills : Solid written and verbal communication. Leadership/Behaviors: Strong collaboration and influencing skills; strong ability to mentor, coach, and train others; team-oriented focus with a work ethic leading by example; able to effectively problem-solve and make solid decisions; conceptual thinker who can continually make enhancements to overall operations. Other Important Information: Pay Programs: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise! - And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows! Reports To: Operations Manager Core Hours: 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm start time, 3rd Shift: 10:00 pm start time Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends required; 45 hours a week on average.

Work Conditions: Regularly exposed to an office and manufacturing environment with moderate noise. Occasionally required to wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment while visiting manufacturing departments, such as unlaced, inner metatarsal steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear plugs. Occasionally exposed to hot mold metal, welding debris, moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The environmental climate is hot in most areas of the plant. May face inclement weather conditions when traveling. Lifting up to 50 lbs. sporadically is also needed.
