Physical and sensory ability to perform the duties noted above under the conditions and extremes found in the day to day operations of the company. Occasional overnight travel or extended period away from home. Able to diagnose and correct all service problems regarding refrigeration, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems. A HVAC/R Technician must be able to diagnose equipment problems accurately and quickly and organize a job efficiently to the mutual benefit of the customer and the company. Job-related contact can occur within virtually all demographic groups, although most working contacts will be served customers, and other company co workers. Daily job stress will range from minimal to extreme based on such factors as the weather, site considerations, time constraints, sales potential, travel requirements, and customer needs.
An average workday will be moderately stressful. WORKING CONDITIONS: Physical/Environmental Conditions : This position requires working primarily in customer places of operation. Ability to work with scaffolding, lifting and moving equipment, and ladders. Being physically fit and good hand /eye coordination are required. Inspect and Measure product for weights, thickness, and visual defects and report results to shooter as they happen. Unload and load incoming and outgoing freight as trained and required. If time does not permit, inform Shooter that trucks are here.
Complete all safety training programs and score with SAS standard requirements. Participate in committees as requested. Safety Committee, Quality Circles, EAC etc.
