of other shipping employees on daily tasks. Utilize the shipping schedule to count, weigh, or measure items of outgoing shipments to verify accuracy. Utilize the shipping schedule to ensure timely delivery of products per customer requirements. Use computer systems to prepare and complete proper shipping documentation and paperwork.
Schedule and work with shipping carriers to ensure proper pickups have been scheduled on a daily basis. Construct special dimensioned pallets for certain products to ensure secure and safe shipment of product. Manage finished goods materials to ensure proper tracking of inventory and ease of shipment for scheduled delivery. Follow QMS Standards and Regulations
to ensure shipments are completed in compliance. Operate forklift to load and unload product and materials. Follow all safety procedures to ensure proper safety guidelines are meeting or exceeding expectations.
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements: Previous experience with shipping and receiving required. Previous experience with operating a forklift preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule starting at 9 AM required. Detail oriented, accuracy with work, and organization skills are key to the success of the position. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. on regular basis. Solid computer skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Responsive to internal and external customer requirements. Ability to stand, sit and move around the facility varying amounts.
