Must be able to improve programs and systems by continually analyzing the operation and implementing changes. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Effectively communicate and work with Crown internal teams regarding all aspects of warehouse operations.
Ensure productivity levels and distribution goals are meeting or exceeding company standards. Direct the day-to-day activities of the Warehouse, including communication with Crown internal teams, shipping, receiving, distribution, maintenance, embroidery and inventory control. Assist in hiring, managing, training and performance evaluation of Warehouse staff
to maintain a high performing team that consistently exceed expectations. Work with Warehouse team to drive production fundamentals of timeliness, quality, cost, and process improvements.
Responsible for overseeing maintenance of Warehouse equipment, coordinating both preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs. Ensure a high up time and utilization rate of equipment. Identify when procedural updates are needed within all Warehouse functions to achieve efficiencies company-wide. Responsible for Warehouse safety programs to provide a safe workplace for employees. Recommend equipment requirements and replacements in order to upgrade and maintain Warehouse productivity and
efficiency. Develop and define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, and/or evaluation of supply chain factors such as tracking and managing inventory product, cost and quality.
Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, and optimize customer service. Develop procedures for coordinating and streamlining supply chain management with other Crown departments, including procurement, sales & marketing, service, production, and quality control. Participate in the coordination of new product launches, rebrandings and/or product line extensions, to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material and production flow.
Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, and position responsibilities.
