The tech works within a sterile table environment: preparing the patient, passing instruments and managing
catheters. Job Duties Assures all the equipment and supplies needed for the procedure are properly identified and assembled Confirm all is in working order Prepare patients for the procedure, this includes shaving, disinfecting site.
Positioning and draping the patient Passing equipment and catheter management Managing post procedural puncture compression site Participate in time-out procedure protocol Participates in post procedural counts Dispose of sharps and disable equipment Minimum Qualifications Must complete an approved Surgical Technologist program Minimum 2 years' experience Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail Skill in data entry with minimal
