and to detect and locate malfunctions Discuss heating-cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems, or to verify that malfunctions have been corrected Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on electronic work orders Record, track and dispose of refrigerant per federal guidelines Recommend, develop, and perform preventive and general maintenance procedures such as cleaning, power-washing, vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, and changing filters for HVAC-R technicians and for other maintenance team members to follow in the field Lay out and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment according
to wiring diagram, using electrician's hand tools Generate work orders that address deficiencies in need of correction Maintain and follow procedures to create a safe working environment for customers, company employees and self.
Provide statewide troubleshooting of systems and/or equipment and help secure necessary parts and supplies for repair in the field Make recommendations to Maintenance Director for the replacement of equipment as needed Be cost effective when evaluating to repair vs. replacement equipment. Responsible for the safety of the crew under the HVAC-R Maintenance direction Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Director Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Director Report to work, as directed, for emergency situations and/or on call after-hours maintenance issues.
Maintain work order tracking system daily such as: new work orders, action notes, and completions. Maintain and secure company issued equipment such as: PPE equipment, company vehicle, company desk top computers, tablets and cell phone. Wear Brewer issued uniform and PPE equipment as required. Maintain and follow procedures to create a safe working environment for customers, company employees and self. The Mine Production Supervisor will safely supervise underground production crews by spending most of their time in the field. Coordinate with mine and surface personal to maintain equipment and deliver safety and production targets. What you'll do? Demonstrate safety leadership and commitment by personally behaving in alignment with Mosaic's safety policies and procedures. Provide
recognition for safe behavior and alternatively constructively coach employees to change behavior if there are non-compliance conditions. Complete field visits to mining areas to ensure that safety, mining, and housekeeping standards are maintained.
Promote safety by leading toolbox talks, monthly meetings, and completing LEGO observations and action plans. Work collaboratively with other crews and departments on site for Carlsbad to 'Win Together'. Coordinate safety, production, maintenance, and coordination issues. Supervise crews in the mine and handles all personnel issues such as vacation and record keeping in KRONOS. Coordinate with all departments to safely move and advance
mining areas. What you'll need: High school diploma/GED required.
3 years' experience in underground mining with at least two years in a supervisory or lead hand position required. Must have above average safety record, attendance, and the ability to work with all departments required. Competency in KRONOS required.
