They are responsible for processing purchase orders, tracking orders and managing inventory. They will communicate any issues and assist in resolving them. Essential Functions: Source and purchase quality products at competitive prices. Maintain relationships
with current and new suppliers. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to obtain optimal prices and quality. Process purchase requisitions and orders by verifying specifications and price.
Contact suppliers to track orders and ensure timely shipment and arrival and resolve any issues. Verify delivered merchandise matches purchase order specifications and meets quality standards. Effectively communicate and collaborate with warehouse operations on any changes, including shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other potential issues. Consult with accounting for billing appropriate parties. Monitor and maintain accuracy of inventory system and relay any discrepancies. Perform other
duties as assigned.
