Duties & Responsibilities Repair and maintain track and right-of-way (ROW). Inspect job sites to ensure compliance with night orders, work schedules, standards of quality, and safety requirements. schedule, and expedite all materials and equipment necessary to complete area projects. Ensure all inventory is accounted for and safeguarded, and that equipment and facilities under his/her control are protected and maintained in a safe operating condition.
Prepare, document, and maintain required maintenance and personnel records using manual and computerized tracking systems. Perform all routine and incidental track/right-of-way maintenance and repair duties necessary for the successful completion of projects and assignments. Measure actual work results against established standards or custom requirements. Assume responsibilities of the supervisor as needed. Ensure all work is timely
and cost-effectively performed and budgetary goals are met. Provide technical instruction when necessary.
Drive a company or personal vehicle to visit work sites and/or transport crews or equipment as needed. Respond to each inquiry, whether from a customer, vendor or co-worker in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the Authority's customer service quality standard. Uphold the rights and interests of the Authority while building and maintaining an effective relationship with employees.
