Duties: Provide legal counsel and support in matters related to employee benefits, focusing on qualified retirement plans and self-funded health and welfare plans. Conduct legal research, analysis, and interpretation of laws, regulations, and case

law affecting employee benefits. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including plan documents, amendments, and participant communications. Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to address legal issues and provide strategic guidance on employee benefits matters.

Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending proactive adjustments as needed. Represent clients in administrative proceedings and negotiations with regulatory agencies, as required. Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on employee benefits issues for clients and internal staff. Requirements:2-6 years of experience in

employee benefits law. Strong background in qualified retirement plans and self-funded health and welfare plans.

Exceptional academic achievements with a Juris Doctor (J. D. ) degree. Current license to practice law in the state of Missouri (MO). LL. M. degree in tax (preferred, but not mandatory). Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent analytical and writing skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Certifications: Admission to the Missouri Bar. Skills: Legal research and analysis. Drafting and negotiating legal documents.
