The candidate will be responsible for handling acquisitions of physician and dental practices and representing behavioral health providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on private equity funds and healthcare providers.
Duties: Led and managed mergers and acquisitions transactions for healthcare clients, specializing in the acquisitions of physician and dental practices. Provide expert legal counsel and representation for behavioral health providers in various transactional matters. Conduct legal research, analysis, and due diligence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate transaction risks. Draft, review,
and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents. Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate smooth and efficient transaction processes.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting healthcare transactions and private equity investments. Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions transactions, preferably with a focus on private equity funds and healthcare providers. Previous experience or a keen interest in behavioral health transactions is a significant advantage. High level of academic achievement, demonstrated by a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active
license to practice law in the state of Missouri. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
