Formulates a treatment plan which includes ordering diagnostic tests, selecting appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, identifying educational needs of the patient and family, developing a patient education plan and formulating a follow-up plan of care. Evaluates operations from a workflow perspective and responds appropriately, redesigns per patient needs and competitive benchmarks.
# Leads in the evaluation, development, and implementation of comprehensive patient education programs. Maintains knowledge of current practices in the management of psychiatric and behavioral health disorders and complexities. # Participates in professional organizations and serves as a resource person for patients and staff. Minimum Requirements: Masters of Science in Nursing, with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited college or university Licensed by the state of Missouri as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse 3+ years of experience as a psychiatric provider Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA) required.
