will represent employers in various forums, including court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations, handling matters such as class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.
The role also involves providing valuable advice and counsel to employers on labor and employment laws and regulations. Duties: Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a wide array of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination. Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and various types of employment-related
cases. Provide legal advice and counsel to employers on labor and employment laws and regulations. Stay informed about current court procedures and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of legal developments in employment law. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Active Michigan Bar admission or the ability to obtain admission quickly. Understanding of current court and employment-related agency procedures. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills. Experience:5+ years of litigation experience,
with a strong background in employment law preferred. Skills: Proficiency in defending and litigating employment-related lawsuits.
