ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Consults with clients throughout the Rocky Mountain region one-on-one and in a workshop setting to determine legal options and eligibility for various forms of immigration benefits including, but not limited to, adjustment of status, naturalization, employment authorization, and family reunification.
Handles ongoing representation of cases derived from consultations in compliance with grant requirements and under the direction of the Managing Attorney. Prepares applications and supporting documentation to be filed with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Maintains accurate and complete case files. Advises, prepares,
counsels, and represents clients in cases before USCIS for naturalization interviews, and in limited cases, for adjustment of status interviews. Researches complex questions regarding U.
S Immigration laws using INA and CFR. Organizes and leads regional case specific workshops, including volunteer recruitment and training. Effectively conducts public community outreach presentations on immigration issues. Serves as liaison with private bar, governmental agencies, and other non-profit organizations. Drafts reports, memos, and other business correspondence. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A. ) from four-year college or university; and Juris Doctorate Degree from American Bar Association-accredited law school.
Active Bar Membership in good standing is required. One to two years legal experience required. Immigration legal experience preferred. This position requires the availability to work either day or night shift. Job Duties Handles case assignments of UC designated for medical care, reviewing records, and conducting orientation. Coordinates and provides UC care based on an approved treatment plan. Facilitates aspects of the UC's treatment plan, such as care coordination. Records all case information, such as care procedures, appointments, and check-ups. Arranges
for the intervention of medical staff or governmental agencies when needed. Determines the need for therapeutic, psycho-social, or psychiatric evaluations based on patient progress.
Interacts with the UC to ensure they are informed about their treatment plan and answers any questions they may have. Evaluates UC's progress and writes case reports to determine case closure. Previous experience as a clinical case manager or similar role. Healthcare related license, certification, or registration. Bilingual (Spanish/ English) preferred. Certifications: CPR Physical Demands: Required to respond to any medical emergency, fast walk or jog may be necessary to provide assistance. Must have the ability to assist sick, injured, or aging patients exiting the building during an emergency (may require lifting, dragging, wheeling, or carrying someone who weighs significantly more than self). Must be able to see, hear and smell with or without the use of aides if necessary (exceptions on a case-by-case basis).
Must easily alternate between kneeling and standing. (exceptions on a case-by-case basis). Must be able to lift, push, and carry 30 pounds. Must be capable of standing on hard surfaces for long periods of time. Frequently required to operate a computer and file and retrieve written documentation.
