and coverage of Bar dues. Duties Appear on time to court 5 days per week in all Saint Louis surrounding counties. Correctly prepare, appear timely, and properly handle court appearances in any surrounding Saint Louis counties.
Timely and reliably appear on time at the given courthouse. Draft, review, and file necessary motions during the course of litigation. Prepare for trials/arbitrations, including overnight stays in distant counties. Communicate with consumers, employers, and attorneys to resolve accounts/suits. Requirements Licensed and in good standing in the State of Missouri to practice law. Additional licensing in other states (IL, KS, IA, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed.
Litigation experience is preferred. Experience with Creditors' Rights law is preferred.
Knowledge of the FDCPA is preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Skills Strong litigation skills and experience. Effective communication with consumers, employers, and attorneys. Detail-oriented with the ability to draft, review, and file necessary motions. Knowledge of Creditors' Rights law and familiarity with the FDCPA. Willingness to travel overnight, with a valid driver's license required for almost all locations.
