Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities: The primary duties of the security guard include: · Entry control: checking employee identification and allowing entry, checking visitor identification, issuing visitor passes, completing visitor logs, issuing vehicle passes, and being observant of suspicious activity and persons.
· Alarm monitor : o Respond to alarms using the Perimeter Intrusion Detection System and make immediate backssments and take necessary actionso Respond to the wall-mounted duress alarm. o Investigate all 911 calls made from within the facility and provide assistance to first responders when needed· CCTV operation : Use the CCTV system to generally maintain site surveillance
