Job Details: Position Unarmed Security Guard Type: On-Call position Location: Hillsboro VA Clinic 1925 NE Stucki Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97006, United States Duties: Interact with all individuals encountered in and around the areas of surveillance to provide information, problem-solve, prevent unlawful activity, take appropriate action when necessary. Patrol the areas around the Clinic and report any illegal activity, unusual findings, or
safety concerns. Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence. Performing access control procedures on vehicles, personnel, and visitors.
Informing personnel and visitors of security procedures, as well as acting upon non-compliance. Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems. Location: National Interagency Fire Center, 3833 Development Ave, Boise, ID 83705 Schedule: Part-time, on-call. Requirements & Qualifications: Must be available to work on-call with a flexible schedule. Must have at least
one-year of experience as a Security Guard or any related experience in this field. Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities: The primary duties of the on-call security guard include the: Entry control: checking employee identification and allowing entry, checking visitor identification, issuing visitor passes, completing visitor logs, issuing vehicle passes, and being observant of suspicious activity and persons.
Alarm monitor : Respond to alarms using the Perimeter Intrusion Detection System and make immediate backssments and take necessary actions Respond to the wall-mounted duress alarm. Investigate all 911 calls made from within the facility and provide assistance to first responders when
needed CCTV operation : Use the CCTV system to generally maintain site surveillance and as a primary tool to backss perimeter alarms.
