Why Choose to be a Float Pool Emergency Room Nurse at our Hospital: You may rotate to one of three campuses to include main ER, Northwest ER, or Northeast ER. You may also float to other areas other than his/her normally assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency.
You will provide age appropriate care to his/her patients based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. You will Nurse perform delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at NSMC. You will display positive support for NSMC as well as the entire Health ONE organization. Qualifications for being an Emergency Room Registered Nurse: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
Current AHA or ARC BCLS, AHA or ARC ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. ENPC & NRP preferred. Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable. 1 to 2 years acute care/specialty nursing desired.
