in relationship to auto and property claims. The day-to-day functions of this internship may change based on storm season claims and you will have other projects and duties as assigned. We are looking to hire three (3) interns to join our team this summer! Our internship program holds an 80/10/10 approach, meaning that 80% of your work time will involve performing tasks or working on projects within your hired work area.
Another 10% of the time, you will be exposed to learning in other areas within your assigned division to get more corporate experience. Then, the final 10% will be spent in shared experiences across the organization, where you will get to really learn about our culture
and work environment. This opportunity is a great way for you to get your foot in the door and spend your summer gaining entry level insurance experience in claims, as well as general corporate real-world exposure.
What It Takes to Join Our Team: · Be a current college student (Agricultural, business, collision repair or insurance major preferred)· A quick learner and able to obtain a basic understanding of auto and property insurance policies· Be an effective communicator, have excellent customer service skills, and be team focused. · Be available to work at least 30 hours per week during the summer of 2024 from our office in Lincoln, Nebraska. Additional hours may be required, up to
40 hours per week. · There is potential for this internship to extend beyond the summer 2024 semester into fall 2024 and beyond.

Label all samples accurately and verifying patient information. Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain sanitary work areas.
Gather medical testing material, including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags, test tubes, alcohol wipes, tourniquets etc. Activate and log in patient samples into Cerner patient information center. Transport samples in a timely manner and in accordance with outlined policies and procedures Explain tests to patients and answer any questions they might
have. Complete all work in accordance with outlined hospital and laboratory guidelines, and federal, state, and local requirements. Train to collect DOT/Non-DOT drug screens and Breath Alcohol Testing Answering phones and helping patient meet their needs in a courteous manner.
Preparing and Performing EKG's Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
