with? Join the NMGC team as a Control Systems Analyst! In this position you will be involved in all aspects of the SCADA (Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition) systems. This position is hands on and maintains connectivity to Live Control systems, measurement systems (Flow Cal, Quorum) and databases (SQL), and databases, supporting natural gas movement throughout the state of New Mexico.
You will also be an integral part of engineering design and support required for SCADA system, identifying and troubleshooting system upsets from the field devices through the network into the HMI and holding databases. You will design and implement system improvements from end to end of the SCADA
system. Primary Duties and Responsibilities This list does not reflect the job duties in their entirety Administer SCADA system operations and alarm data bases; performs data and system network duties Resolve computer hardware/software and interface problems Design and implement complex IT solutions to address changing regulatory and business needs Responds to gas systems operations system, pipeline and SCADA emergencies 24 hours/day We’re Looking for Someone With: Bachelor’s degree, preference in Information Technology, Information Systems or Engineering.
Five (5) years of related work experience A valid driver's license Must be able to obtain all applicable Operator Qualifications (OQs) within two years from starting the position, through provided training. Availability for frequent travel and overtime and/or be on-call as needed
