Explore your future and launch your career today. Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Staff Cyber Systems Engineer - 11852. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program. -Experience leading technical teams-Collaborate with Infrastructure Ops teams, Product Managers, and Application Owners to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems. -Configure and administer cloud organizations in various clouds using Terraform, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, availability, and security.

-Assist in the evaluation and implementation of various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. -Leverage automation tools to monitor and maintain system configuration, health, and reliability to support business process requirements. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. -Communicate status and risks to team members and the Product teams. -Help automate and streamline operations and processes. -maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. -Demonstrated ability to write technical instructions and document source code.

- Foster, and build, strong relationship with subcontractors as well as other technology areas within the organization. - Provide thought leadership to evolve technology and technical solutions. - Provide guidance on how emerging and new technology can help deliver solutions that can go above-and-beyond what is currently thought to be possible, or practical- Be autonomous, organized, and efficient, and a good team player. - Lead and mentor technical development staff to further develop their skills. - Motivate and lead a diverse, high-performing team, utilizing effective talent management practices to attract and retain team members.

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Job Qualifications: You'll Bring These Qualifications: 14 Years with Bachelor's in relevant field of study, 12 Years with Masters, 09 Years with Ph D or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree. US Citizenship, ability to obtain Do D Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).

IAT Level I Certification - Security + These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Experience writing Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules. Experience in Dev Ops and Git Ops models with infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code, etc. Proficient in MBSE modeling designs Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud, certification preferred. Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security. Experience in enterprise-scale environments, building highly available Iaa S and Paa S solutions.

Understanding of landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and Well-Architected Frameworks. Experience with container related technologies and CICD tools - Git Hub, pipelines, repos, etc. Experience in programming languages such as: Java Script, and Python. Experience with infrastructure automation tools/configuration management like: Terraform, Ansible, and Docker. Exposure to Cloud logging, monitoring, and observability tools. Proficient in at least one scripting language (i. e. Bash, Python). Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills. Excellent communication skills.

Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work with team. Familiarity with IAM (Identity and Access Management) concepts and tools in cloud platforms to ensure secure and controlled access to cloud resources. Familiarity with Service Now development. Awareness of compliance requirements, industry regulations, relevant to the cloud domain (e. g. HIPAA, PCI, FISMA, etc. ) Eagerness to actively engage in professional development opportunities such as certifications, workshops, or conferences to enhance skills and knowledge in cloud technologies. Salary Range: $156,700 - $235,100The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
