Northrop Grumman Space Systems Strategic Deterrence Systems (SDS) Division is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer in the Engineering Process and Governance Team. This position will be located in Roy, UT, and will support Division engineering processes as well as multiple programs

across SDS. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do SDS Division Staff Engineer will support roles include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead a team in developing, writing, and publishing auditable Systems Engineering processes and governance documents, models, and training. Coordinate with multiple IPTs/programs, functional technical teams, technical management, change management, risk management, specifications, SE process, procedures, and governance to develop and implement engineering processes, governance, and training from division level and across multiple programs. Implement Process Ecosystem architecture in the System Architecture Model, including modeling integration processes, tools, and techniques, Support development of process training.

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Job Qualifications You'll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline from an ABET accredited university; 14 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 12 years with a Master's; or 9 years with Ph D US Citizen with ability to obtain Do D Security Clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance Demonstrated team leadership experience. Demonstrated understanding of Systems Engineering processes and governance across the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements, baseline control, configuration management, change management, risk management, verification and validation, sustainment, and retirement.

Experience writing SE technical processes, procedures and/or training materials. Familiarity with Mission Assurance/Quality compliance and auditing. Familiarity developing or contributing to process training. Familiarity with Agile methodology. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Advanced degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF or Sys ML/UML Active Top Secret/SCI clearance within 6 years, Active Sentinel S//SAR or TS//SAR Systems Engineering/CMMI/Agile process and governance development.

Experience with complex system development on large programs. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated understanding of model development/management using CAMEO or similar tool. Engineering process training development and support. Technical writing experience (emphasis on systems engineering standards). Salary Range: $142,500 - $213,700The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
