Detailed responsibilities: SYSTEMS - Understand and maintain knowledge of all Hospitals information, software, hardware, and operating systems or those specifically assigned. Assist with system maintenance and modification as needed DESIGN - Assist with the design and implementation of information, software, hardware, and operating systems CONFIGURATION - Assist with the development
of policies, standards and direction for system configuration SOFTWARE - Assist implementation of software on new and existing systems for department or individual use IMPLEMENTATION - Assist configuration and implementation of server and client side systems applications NEEDS ANALYSIS - Communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel to understand and define user needs, gather and analyze data and recommend solutions MAINTENANCE - Maintain hardware and software systems PROJECTS - Provide support, maintenance and administration for assigned IT projects.
Prepare and present status reports on assigned projects MANUALS - Assist in the development, updating and maintenance
of operating/training manuals TESTING - Assist with testing leading edge systems technologies STANDARDIZATION - Participate in the Hospitals hardware and software standardization efforts as appropriate and assigned COMMUNICATION - Communicate with technical and non-technical personnel on systems issues to understand and respond to user needs DEVELOPMENT - Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops Qualifications Related Education and Experience may be substituted for one another on a year for year basis.
