and third party programs Research new application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts Work with management, team members, and end users to assist in resolving problems with software products or systems Identify and document requirements for new system implementation, system enhancements, bug fixes, technology updates and security patches Create business and technical design documents Create, document manage and store code using enterprise code vault and code documentation practices Document and comment code to ensure supportability Perform unit testing and regression testing on code Perform security testing MINIMUM
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field of study Five years’ experience in web-based software design and development Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of technology and business skill experience to provide practical, cost effective and efficient solutions to a variety of programming issues and tasks Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies Knowledge of Microsoft development tools Knowledge of OWASP best practices and top 20 Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to handle stress. Physical presence in the office is required.
