The Supply Chain Engineer will perform analysis of the NNSA components, materials, vendors, and processes crucial to developing nuclear weapon life cycle management packages to support current and future NNSA nuclear enterprise activities , and d evelop approaches necessary to support nuclear weapons life cycle activities across the spectrum of programs.

Specific duties include: Integrate supply chain considerations into weapon life extension project and program activities. Support the development of high-level Defense Program's (DP) supply chain approaches by interfacing with stakeholders such as Department of Defense ( Do D ) as well as DP personnel. Manage and

perform analyses and studies of DP's acquisition processes. Identify requirements, interfaces, conflicts, and integration issues and provide recommended resolutions based on sound engineering rationale supported by thorough and comprehensive analysis.

Support the develop ment of Lifecycle Sustainment Plans for various weapons programs. Develop Integrated Logistics backssment Plans and conduct integrated logistics backssments. Support the development of an integrated supply chain model/database. Analyze manufacturer readiness level considerations. Evaluate pre-production engineering logistics activities. Conduct supply chain risk backssments , vendor audits, and industrial profiling. Skills

/ Qualifications: Experience developing and implementing supply chain analyses and processes.

Experience conduct ing vendor backssments and audits. Experience / Educational Requirements: Logistics Management , Supply Chain Management , Industrial Engineering or other relevant degree. (preferred) Logistics, Supply Chain, Lean, or other relevant certification(s). (preferred) Other Unique Requirements: Department of Energy (DOE) 6. X and/or Do D 5000-series acquisition experience. (preferred) Knowledge of the interfaces between DOE/NNSA programs, field sites, contractors, and other government agencies involved in weapons production, handling, and transportation.

(preferred) Knowledge of DOE/NNSA weapons programs and /or nuclear materials and/or nuclear weapon components. (preferred) Experience analyzing, designing, and optimizing complex manufacturing and distribution supply chains. (preferred) Supply chain experience related to complex systems (either commercial, industrial, or military). DOE L / DOD S required, DOE Q / Do D TS preferred
