Develop subsystem and systems level testing requirements, write test plans, test procedures, and test reports. Communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer) or closely related Science, Physics or Math degree is required.
Master of Science (MS) Degree is a plus. Minimum 8 years related experience is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface with customers and technical professionals at all levels is required. Familiarity with modern avionics architectures and avionics systems is required. A working knowledge of Do D and/or FAA airworthiness certification requirements is required. A working knowledge of IBM® DOORS® or other requirements management database tool is a plus.
A working knowledge of DO-178 and DO-254 is a plus. Experience in developing a military System Safety Program Plan and related backssments in accordance with MIL-STD-882 or ARP4761 and ARP4754 processes in support of aircraft systems qualification is a plus. Ability to operate in a fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment with a high degree of efficient and effective performance is required.
