This position works with project managers to ensure correct system installation while also providing technical support through troubleshooting and training where required. ) Proficiency in switching and routing, control systems, display devices, scalers, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, rack layouts, and basic network topology, terminology & protocols. Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, CAD wiring diagrams, and schematics. Collaborate with the Sales team in establishing accurate and effective solutions for the clients. Create equipment specifications and bill of materials budgets for cost estimating and purchasing. Support the Project managers in products and specialized

equipment research and system manuals. Markup A/V installation drawings Conduct site visits and review installation standards, assist in system testing, write verification, and commissioning plans and other documents per contract requirements.

Provide client training. Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Mentor and work with Junior A/V Design Engineers. Requirements: BS in audiovisual, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or another related field - preferred. Extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of Audio/Visual Engineering and Systems Integration. 10-12+ years of experience in A/V Design or Integration.

AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certification required. Knowledge of Auto CAD required. Experience in Microsoft Office programs Must be able to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent. Strong written and verbal communication skills internally & with client. Punctual, must be able to meet deadlines, while maintaining highest quality standards. Accurate and detail oriented. Strong team player and collaboration skills. Other key manufacturer certifications are a plus (e. g. QSC, Crestron, Shure, BIAMP, etc. ). OSHA 10 or 30 hour is a plus. Revit not required but a plus. Job Summary: The A/V Systems Drafter is an invaluable team member who provides assistance and CAD support to the Design Engineering team and works with other A/V System Drafters in implementing red lines, providing architectural backgrounds, floorplans, elevation views, and any other CAD-relevant tasks. About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer - MEP to join our corporate team based out of our Lititz, PA campus.

This position reports to the Director of Commercial Services and will be the primary point of contact for the technical design discipline. This is a matrix role because here at Haller it takes a team to produce professional and successful estimation submissions. At times, you will work independently, or you take time to mentor a junior engineer, maybe take time to

engage with our business development group. You bring passion, and the desire to improve efficiencies to conceptualize and develop full documentation for new construction and renovation projects for multiple types of facilities such as healthcare, commercial offices, higher education, research laboratories, or related commercial projects.

With the team, you evaluate, optimize, select, specify, and engineer all mechanical (HVAC) equipment systems serving a new construction or renovation project. How You Will Make an Impact: Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design, performance specifications, or environmental regulations.

Work with supplier's technical support on the identification of materials and components that meet required specifications.

Responsible for securing stamped drawings and state certifications working with external and internal resources. Initiate the creation of production BOMs, Material Lists, and Assembly Instruction Sheets for manufacturing based on project drawings. Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. Estimate costs or submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects. Recommend the use of utility or energy services that minimize carbon footprints. Design integrated mechanical or alternative systems, such as mechanical cooling systems with natural ventilation systems, to improve energy efficiency.

Requisite knowledge, interpretation, and application of the mechanical and plumbing codes, energy codes, ASHRAE standards, FGI Guidelines, and other building codes. Strong ability and desire to lead mechanical HVAC design engineering to achieve a high-performance system; desire to evaluate system alternatives with increasing energy efficiency. Detailed understanding of all phases of architectural / engineering document production with a working knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Projects are produced in Revit 2022. The ability to review and monitor the production progress via the BIM is required. Strong knowledge of Building Automation Systems and Controls. Ability to author sequences of operation and develop design control documentation for HVAC systems. Education, Experience, and Licensure: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered instead of the degree. A minimum of 10 years of MEP design in commercial construction is required.

Valid PE license(PA) and LEED-accredited (Commercial) status are highly preferred. Knowledge in Building Energy Analysis and ROI calculations. Knowledge of IBC, NFPA, IRC, IPC, and all other relevant construction codes. Working knowledge of local and national codes including the National Electrical Code Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Auto CAD Construction Cloud. Strong leadership skills and be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with multiple deadlines. $110,000 - $130,000 a year Salary is dependent on your education and experience.
