Position This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities As a Senior Systems Engineer for Intelligent Solutions Group Fargo located in Fargo, ND, Waterloo, IA; Urbandale, IA; or Moline, IL you will. Analyze customer needs and generates engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for complex problems or projects of moderate scope. Gather system-level requirements of systems of a broad scope and decompose and partition these requirements into component-level requirements. Produce and/or evaluate possible design

solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications together with involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.

Create system concepts and analyze system architecture options to develop a cost-effective, reliable system definition. Analyze system architecture options to measure the performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of the system. Compile and furnish necessary information to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design with possible involvement of other engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.

Integrate the components of a system and verify the components work together and the system meets the performance criteria. Troubleshoot and identify root cause of system-level problems of a complex nature. Develop test or analysis plans for system-level verification and validation. Lead in resolution of difficult technical issues both inside the company and with outside suppliers. VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position What Skills You Need Five or more years of System or Product engineering experience. Technical skill and knowledge in embedded system design, either electrical or software.

Knowledgeable on the principal components used in embedded systems including microcontrollers, operating systems, switching devices and protection devices. Knowledge in basic engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge. Experience in the hardware or software design and implementation of embedded electronic systems. Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product. Fundamental understanding of machine forms used in ground-based vehicles. Ability to interface with customers without guidance from a supervisor. Development and debugging tools (source level debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.

) Ability to perform more complex functions, understand principles, and teach others. Good understanding of the principles and ability to independently use the knowledge. Good written and verbal communication skills (English) What Makes You Stand Out Five or more years experience in the development and implementation of mobile embedded electronics Basic product knowledge of off-highway agriculture and construction vehicles or related harsh environment vehicles. Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Development Process (EPDP) and/or Customer Acquisitions Process (CAP).

Skill in using company information systems and processes.
