About the Role How you will contribute Provide first level support to the incident management activities in the plant and problem and change management activities for the site. Assume other plant related IT support responsibilities as per plant requirements, availability, and IT skills such as development of ad hoc reports via standard reporting writing tools i. e. SQL and/or Crystal Reports. Give input to incident reports
and contribute to the root-cause analysis of problems. Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved as directed by the site analyst or IT support group and perform/assist key user groups in application software upgrades/maintenance and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Report site IT downtime and changes to the site production schedules using the appropriate communication procedures. Develop and maintain functional knowledge of all critical operational application software & processes utilized at the site in order to provide support and training to the site users. Develop and maintain technical knowledge of all critical operational software applications, IT processes, and procedures utilized at the site in order to provide IT support.
Perform hands-on fixes and changes at the PC desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, performing/validating file backups, managing custody of back-up media, and configuring applications at the direction of the site analyst or IT support group. Organize IT equipment repairs, maintain site inventory of usable spare IT equipment, and maintain a maintenance log of equipment repairs, as directed by the site analyst. Follow the site related IT purchasing & asset tracking procedures receiving IT assets, updating the IT asset inventory & partake in decommissioning end-of-life assets.
Other duties as assigned Your Key Qualifications Community College diploma required, university degree preferred (or educational equivalent) and/or significant relevant experience. Experience in working with Warehouse Management systems in a shop floor environment would be desirable. Experience in general PC repairs and PC based applications. Communicative with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local site language, when applicable.

The System Design Engineer duties include the development of system/subsystem design and requirements, software requirements, integration, and verification test. They shall ensure the design has been fully defined, traceable, and validated during testing down to the components and software requirements.
They shall ensure that all of their tasks and quality products are completed on-time. Their roles and responsibilities include: Define and ensure traceability of the system and subsystem requirements and software requirements Perform functional analysis to develop flows and concepts of execution Design and develop the system and subsystem architecture, interfaces,
and design including commonality considerations Decompose system and subsystem performance and verification requirements, and develop design verification plans and reports Identify, define, and manage power, data, and other system interfaces Ensure the system, subsystem, and component interfaces are maintained Support managing power and network bandwidth allocations for vehicle functions Ensure the system design aligns across physical, power, data, and software Integrate and verify the system and subsystem components in the Lab/Vehicle Define and execute system and subsystem integration, test, and verification plans Provide technical inputs to planning, schedules, and cost estimates Achieve proficiency
