Your Responsibilities As a Power Unit Development Engineer for John Deere Power Systems located in Waterloo, IA , you will: Design and execute test plans to optimize engine and aftertreatment system performance, critically analyze data, and present technical information/recommendations to support calibration, hardware selection, and controls development decisions.
Support engine and aftertreatment controls and component specification and development (combustion system, fuel system, air system, aftertreatment etc. ). Manage a Performance & Emissions test cell, providing clear work direction for the test cell operators, and coordinating test schedules and experiments. Use simulation and
modeling techniques to improve test coverage/efficiency. Visa Sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
