Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells, as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels, the booth, theoffice, and rest rooms. Empty all trashcans in the garage, thebooth, and the office.
Responsible for safety and security of company equipment. Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all painted surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates, etc. are properly maintained and look neat and clean. Perform tasks such as replace light bulbs as needed or apply oil absorbent to oil spills. Walk garage daily
to note and correct any maintenance problems. Check conditions on the ticket splitters, gates, ticket supply, time clock, and other equipment for proper functioning and general appearance.
Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc. Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed. Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, outdoor equipment(such as weed eater), lawnmowers, or other electrical tools to repair or construct items, as applicable. Shovel, plow, or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager, as applicable. Resolve customer complaints independently
or with the aid of a supervisor. Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the local manager in a timely manner.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company's maintenance checklists. Other special projects as assigned by location management. Minimum Job Qualifications Must have a valid DMV driver's license. High school degree or GED equivalent preferred. Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other employees in a professional and friendly manner. Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with the parking customer, providing resolution as needed to customer issues. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
