Job Title: Injection Mold Maintenance Machinist Job Objective: Troubleshoot, maintain and repair Injection Mold machines, tooling, and all support equipment.
Primary Responsibilities : Responsible for Preventive Maintenance on molds, machines and related equipment, including automation. Troubleshoot and repair molds, machines, automation, and support equipment. Repair and maintenance of molds and related equipment using machine shop equipment including Bridgeports, lathes and grinders. Maintain parts inventory for machine molds and related equipment. Set up and process of machines and related equipment. Requirements : Must have own trade related tools to perform all required tasks. Vocational
school graduate of Machine Shop or Machine and Tool Technology, equivalent secondary school curriculum is required.

Must have strong background in automation repair, good knowledge of PLC operation and understanding of integrated systems. Must have experience fabricating parts using a lathe and milling machine. Must have experience using the tools of the trade including calipers, vernier and micrometer. Special Credentials/Skills : Should work well with others and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have analytical and problem solving skills to use with production to identify and correct process problems within the injection molding operation. Should have a thorough knowledge of mechanical related production equipment (machine equipment controls). Demonstrated ability to install, repair and maintain injection molding and support equipment. Coordinate internal communications with A/P, A/R and Purchasing. Manage Parts store PNC Visa credit card, purchase orders, supplier invoices and set up of both maintenance and operating supplies. Process annual blanket purchase order program. Work with production scheduler to determine operating supplies and inventory levels.
Maintain weekly cycle counts. Coordinate with purchasing and vendors deficiencies and issues within Ball Plant Supply chain. Assist with raw material dispositioning. Coordinate internal Fed-Ex shipping program. Coordinate interplant logistics. Oversee Keep Stock programs of safety and cleaning supplies. Organize/Reports on inventories of operating supplies. Assist
in annual plant inventory and both maintenance shutdowns. Work with material vendors and suppliers. Compliance of SDS's when new materials are requested. Work with Engineering, Maintenance and Production to specify, set order points, remove obsolete items and enter information into databases.
Train tool crib personnel in job procedures as needed. Other tasks as needed. Education: High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
