work requests, develops scope of work, and inspects job location to determine job requirements. Schedules the execution of the work orders. Manages the back log including screening the work orders for validity and proper priority along with ordering and staging required parts (kitting).

Estimates labor hours, manpower, parts, materials, equipment and special tools required to complete proactive jobs in a safe and cost-effective manner. Eliminates duplicate work orders and returns work orders to requesters that require more detail to plan the work successfully. Kitting is an essential part in this role for scheduled and shutdown work. Gathers relevant technical documentation such as drawings,

schematics, specifications, spare parts lists from equipment histories and OEM manuals. Verifies the availability of, or orders parts prior to scheduling the job.

Arrange for special tools and auxiliary equipment when required. Participates in periodic planning & scheduling meetings with Production to determine work order priorities, communicate work order status and alter planned maintenance activities if necessary. Determines and reports trigger points for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and initiate/facilitate RCA events. Analyzes and updates Preventative Maintenance Plans for accuracy and effectiveness. Develops, modifies, and improves PMs as needed. Improves work order planning and scheduling

effectiveness through the review process and use of the maintenance metrics.

Coordinate timely and safe completion of all maintenance work orders performed by outside contractors. Actively utilizes Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma to continue to build a world class department. Maintains records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance related matters. Trains site employees on CMMS and ensures that it is working with integrity and is being utilized. Reviews all completed work orders for proper completion, detail, and thoroughness of material consumption. Education and/or Experience: Comprehensive understanding of IFS and Microsoft Office.

Industrial maintenance background. Ability to write various types of technical documents including, but not limited to, instructions, training outlines, and reports. Must be able to creatively apply experience and common sense to a variety of situations, processes, and people. Must be able to make technical decisions and support the staff on technical issues. Possess the ability to manage several projects concurrently. Be able to plan work, order parts, and coordinate downtime for completion of work orders. Maintain accurate equipment spare parts list. Create and categorize standard, repetitive job plans.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write various types of documents including, but not limited to, instructions, training outlines, and reports. Ability to effectively present information verbally in one-on-one to large group situations. Reasoning Ability: Must be able to creatively apply experience and common sense to a variety of situations, processes, and people. Must be able to make technical decisions and support the staff on technical issues. Possess the ability to manage several projects concurrently.

Be able to plan work, order parts, and coordinate downtime to complete work orders. Be able to resolve issues which may include conflicts between employees, equipment malfunctions, and variations in operating conditions. Computer Skills: Must demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft Office suite and be able to effectively use Maintenance Management Software. Physical Demands: Manufacturing Plant Environment Must lift/move up to 50 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee is expected to enter facility to evaluate planned jobs. Ability to go up and down stairs FOOD AND WORKPLACE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Proactively manage safety by ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations and internal Company policies.
