Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Demonstrated ability to identify risks in maintenance systems and practices, verify if requirements are complied with, and present solutions to any identified maintenance concerns. Demonstrated professional expertise necessary to interpret, accurately apply, and evaluate grantee compliance with complex federal maintenance requirements, including those in FTA circulars. Demonstrated ability to explain complex maintenance topics and requirements to non-expert audiences. Demonstrated ability to locate root causes of issues, research multiple issues simultaneously, and to write comprehensive, accurate, and concise reports in a timely fashion, as well as give professional oral presentations.
