As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will: Complete preventative maintenance checks and repairs following manufacturer specifications, complete required paperwork, and identify and list follow-up items.
Identify worn parts and components, lubricate and grease body and chassis components to manufacture specifications. Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that the vehicle is operating properly. Repair and replace lighting, electrical, brakes, and body components. Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation
of work performed (work orders) in a thorough and timely manner. Partner with the team lead to learn new skills using Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems' technician training and hands-on coaching.

Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, servo drives, motors, Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks as necessary, but routinely in cases requiring technical expertise Review documentation for maintenance activity using the maintenance database, and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system. Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups, and change overs Assist other maintenance technicians as required Will assist in the training and coaching others on best practices.

Requirements / Working Conditions: Ability to lift, push, pull, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, & stoop Ability to repetitively lift, twist, stretch, & reach overhead Ability to stand during entire shift minimum of 12 hours Work in compliance with OSHA regulations Total Rewards: • Pay starting at $27.91 per hour.
