As a Senior Signal Processing Engineer , you will collaborate in the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance backssment of radar and/or Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) algorithms and models.
Used across our products and new business initiatives, signal processing algorithms extract and exploit signals from both active and passive sensors to be used for calibrating and de-noising of raw sensor data; acquiring, detecting, tracking, and classifying objects of interest; and sensor fusion. This position is
an onsite role based in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities to Anticipate: You will act as a seasoned professional with advanced knowledge of signal processing to support budget, schedule, development, execution, and completion of difficult and sometimes complex program objectives.
You will use and modify simulations for the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance backssment of radar and/or EO/IR algorithms and models. You will participate in production, engineering lab, and field test environments to test, verify, and validate radar and/or EO/IR models and signal processing algorithm performance in accordance with requirements. You will collaborate in all development phases from program start-up to live-fire testing, supporting design reviews, peer reviews, and technical briefings to parties within and outside own department.
Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. Experience with C++ and/or C. Experience with MATLAB and/or Python. Experience running, modifying, and/or evaluating simulations. The ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. government issued security clearance is required. U.
