Description Under general supervision, plans and performs complex Mining Engineering duties related to development and production at assigned site. Develop mine plans based
on all available geological and geotechnical information to support long-range and short-range planning and production goals Provides guidance and counsel to the site Management and subordinates on equipment selection, capital and operating costs, manpower, safety practices, and either existing or proposed technical aspects of mine operation In collaboration with Management and subordinates prepare manpower, capital and equipment requirements to meet budgeting and forecast objectives Prepare and optimize Life-of-Mine (LOM) phase designs, sequencing and ore reserves to minimize strip ratio and maximize NPV Develop and manage mine waste stockpile designs within Corporate and regulatory guidelines
