May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel, contractors, and suppliers. This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization. Duties: Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation,

quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of moderate scope. Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations.

Investigate, gather, and analyze data and implement solutions. Innovate and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope. Apply electronic tools across a broad range of applications, including e-builds, modeling, and simulations. Develop and implement plans to support lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System of moderate scope. Design operations layouts. Improve material flow and material presentation. Lead team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity,

and efficiency of moderate scope. Lead analysis, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology.

Analyze and make modifications to existing performance pay plans; assist in development of baseline data for new performance pay plans. Requirements: Ability to work 2nd shift position - 2pm to 10pm. Some days the hours can exceed 10pm. Strong analytical skills, ability to diagnose and resolve issues with minimal supervision. Knowledge of manufacturing processes: line and process design, cycles of imbalance, material presentation (Kanban), visual management (5S), and/or tooling design. Knowledge of ergonomics and proper manufacturing safety techniques.

Knowledge of World Class Quality Systems/Methods: ISO-9001, Six Sigma, DFM/DFA, FMEA and/or Mistake-Proofing. Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point). Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems. Knowledge of Change Management Systems. Knowledge of ERP Systems. Strong organizational skills. Good Communication skills.
