Position Your Responsibilities As a Senior Test Design Engineer located in Fargo, ND , you will lead overall test development for high level programs and enhance existing test systems for robust electronics intended for on/off road vehicles and harsh environments.

In addition, you will: Lead requirements definition working directly with product verification, cross functional teams, and customers, without assistance from others. Review and provide proper feedback about the requirements. Lead innovative Hardware/Software testing architectures and designs for challenging problems without need for peer guidance or supervision. This includes breaking the original requirements down into the

proper high level and mid-range architecture and then creating detailed design notes from the results.

Perform advanced analysis and make recommendations and design decisions based on results with minimal assistance from others. Review the design calculations of others to ensure proper application of design techniques. Lead code implementation using advanced Lab VIEW development practices and tools. Drive process to eliminate tool suite set up problems. Solve integration issues that involve multiple code modules, code bases, and/or multiple developers. Critically review others’ code. Perform advanced unit, integration, and systems verification and validation testing using HW/SW tools.

Drive process and consistency in test system architecture and code reviews. Provide technical guidance to other test team members and lead large test projects requiring more than one engineer, with minimal support from a supervisor. VISA Sponsorship is available for this position What Skills You Need 5 or more years of experience in electronics testing 5 or more years of experience in Lab VIEW or other NI programming languages 5 or more years of experience with basic controls, and Data Acquisition systems (DAQ) 5 or more years of Technical experience using and understanding schematics and hardware analysis software (Pspice, Math CAD, etc.

) 1 or more years of experience in SW development (C, C++, XML, Python, etc. ) Experience in statistical analysis (SPC, GR&R, Monte Carlo, etc. ) Experience with basic electronics hardware and systems (i. e. Op Amp, FET’s, Transistors, A/D converters, serial and parallel interfaces, etc. ) Good written and verbal communications skills (English) Understanding of product development phases What Makes You Stand Out Developing automated tests (test run time 1-3 month duration) for electronics design verification testing Electronics manufacturing functional testing experience Experience working with VC-B2 voltage levels Experience developing automated Electric Vehicle test systems for design verification testing Power Electronics testing experience Experience with communication protocols (i.
