Your opportunity : As a Manufacturing Engineer for the technical training team with the Greenheck Group you will design and deliver training to team members. This position will also provide leadership and strong technical support to optimize factory costs, quality,

and customer service through the conception, development, and implementation of new or improved manufacturing processes and technical training. What you’ll be doing: Coordinate, implement, and present training initiatives to support manufacturing team members and Lean efforts.

Develop and implement new team member training as needed. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment. Lead and support safety, 5S, and Lean initiatives. Instruct lean and manufacturing classes to organization. Organize best practice sharing events and training. Communicate and promote new manufacturing processes/technology to the entire organization. Determines “best

practices” and makes sure they are consistently applied throughout the organization.

Participates in benchmarking activities around lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and automation. Drive change throughout the organization. Support and participate in value engineering initiatives. Make recommendations using summarized data to influence key management decisions relating to budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning. Supervise technical training team members. Me ntor and provide facilitation assistance on relevant projects. Apply and communicate Lean principles to optimize quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and operational efficiencies resulting in improved customer satisfaction.

Expected to complete internal Lean Champion Certification. What you should have: Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year degree in an Engineering discipline. Between 2-6 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Project management skills required. Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Intermediate Auto CAD is a plus.
