Essential Duties & Responsibilities Confers with other engineering and technical personnel as well as customers to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy, or feasibility of systems process functions as related program development.

Reviews results of computer runs with interested personnel to determine necessity for modifications or reruns. Designs for fabrication of control or power apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditional

for testing products. Develops applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial and/or industrial, freeze drying or related medical process equipment.

Participates in the control systems standards group. Helps to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Interfaces with all levels of engineering associates and customers to resolve all related control issues in process equipment function. Experience with UL 508A/CE certification Experience with machine network diagrams Knowledge of all power wiring and control components related to freeze dryers Knowledge of Allen Bradley, PLC's as related to control of medical process equipment and SCADA/HMI software packages such as Wonderware, Intellution, GE i FIX and Allen Bradley Factory Talk View ME/SE. Is able to maintain a high activity level managing and prioritizing numerous projects.

Knowledge of aseptic processing and sterilization processes in the medical industry. Is able to interface well with colleagues and customers to access control requirements and functional operation. Proficiency in use of Office suite and Solid Works Electrical. Well Organized with good project skills. Education Bachelors degree (B. S. E. E) from four year college or university; with related work experience. Mathematical skills - Able to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.

Is able to work with concepts such as quadratic and differential equations, and proofs to theorems. Has to calculate all electrical and control related equations and theorems. The employee is regularly required to use normal office tools, equipment and PC's. Work Environment Work is normally performed in both the office and the shop. The office environment is an interior office with air conditioning. The shop contains mobile equipment, machinery, and high voltages. The shop noise level is variable and may require hearing protection in some areas. The shop is heated when required but many areas are not air conditioned. Some shop processes use high voltage arcs or concentrated magnetic fields.

The shop contains open flames and caustic chemicals. Some shop areas may be designated hard hat zones. Travel to customer and sister company sites is required, including international, estimated at 20% per year Safety All employees have the responsibility to work in a safe manner and report any health, safety or environmental concern to their manager or supervisor in a timely manner.
