General Description: The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing current production processes, procedures, and standards to identify inefficiencies. They often spend time on the production floor analyzing both employee and machinery workflow to find out where the process can be streamlined for lower costs and higher productivity. As a process engineer, you will be responsible for

developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. Job Responsibilities: Recommends manufacturing equipment and processes designed to be efficient, cost-effective, and to promote quality, and reliability.

Conducts tests and monitors the process performance through production. Troubleshoot problems associated with the manufacturing process and resolves delays in production. Collaborate with colleagues on issues like cost projections and reduction,

as well as run times. Create automated machinery by utilizing 3D CAD software, working with suppliers to obtain the parts, and testing them.

Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance. Review space requirements and machinery layout to create an optimized workflow. Improve, establish, and standardize policies, procedures, and processes. Ability to assist in the risk backssments of new manufacturing areas for safety and OSHA standards. The ability to integrate and install new cells from start to finish. Work on constant improvement of all processes and cycle times. Understanding of automation and robotics principles.

Ability to communicate from upper end to floor and work with outside contractors. Ability to chart and explore improvements. Ability to explore and recommend better robust systems to stay on the leading edge of technology. Able to implement and produce work instructions for our new processes. Ability to meet deadlines. Instructs on safe work practices and promotes safety consciousness while practicing safety procedures, enforcing policy regarding safety, and making recommendations when needed. May train personnel in equipment usage and processes. Education/Experience: A minimum of a bachelors degree is preferred.

4+ years manufacturing experience. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques. Versed in relevant software (CAD, MS Office). Practiced knowledge of continuous improvement, quality, ISO, lean operations, and six-sigma experience or certification. Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. Process and results oriented; Project Management experience. Plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets time efficiently focusing on key priorities. Exhibits passion and enthusiasm about the work we do. Has a can-do attitude.
