A Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required with expertise in areas, such as (but not limited to) renewable energy, aerospace engineering, intelligent manufacturing, cyber-physical systems, mechatronics, fluid, thermal, solid mechanics, and bioengineering. The applicant should have a recognized stature in mechanical engineering and an outstanding record in funded research, teaching, and service
commensurate with appointment as a tenured full professor. An ideal candidate should have a demonstrated commitment to collaborative leadership and a strong track record of impactful research and excellence in teaching.
