The Senior Cloud Network & Security Engineer is a seasoned IT infrastructure engineer with a focus on network and security design, implementation, and operations in a hyperscale public cloud environment. The preferred candidate brings with them a background in traditional

network engineering and concepts (TCP/IP, switching, routing, WAN protocols, etc. ) but has recent experience building virtual networks and applying cloud native security best practices (NSG's, WAF, etc.

). Attention to detail with strong intellectual curiosity and demonstrated learning agility is a must. The ability to partner and collaborate with key stakeholder like IT Security is critical. What you will do. Coordinates and performs logical and physical Azure network designs and changes. Proactive Customer Engagement - Understand and support their key solutions, workloads, and priorities on Azure including regular engagement on trend analysis, proactive monitoring, and event planning.

Analyze and recommend contemporary and emerging technologies for deployment across the enterprise including but not limited to NSG Automation, Network Topology mapping, Lead Azure Network design and automation development, DMVPN, Qo S policies, marking, and policy map.

Subject Matter Expert in IP routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IP Multicast, Azure static IP route tables. Strong Experience in implementing & configuring Azure Express Route. Network capacity management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Design, testing, implementation, and supporting an enterprise WAN solution that integrates with 3rd party WAN providers and remote systems.

RCA Ownership - Own and drive the timely delivery of quality root cause analysis (RCA) to understand and prevent future occurrence of reported issues. Engineering Engagement - Relentlessly champion and advocate driving product feedback, feature requests to address customer pain points and improve Azure resiliency. to support development, modernization, and migration in support of a Healthcare multi-cloud environment. Aside from technical qualifications, the applicant should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Modern business methods and performance measurement techniques Prepare and maintain up to date documentation for internal and external customers detailing configuration of deployed solutions.

Change and Configuration Management best practices. Enforce quality standards for engineered solutions and promote continuous improvement. What you bring to the table. (Must Have) 8+ years of experience in systems infrastructure design, support, and administration 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure in a hybrid environment. Demonstrated experience in network design and operations of enterprise systems. 2-5 years of strong experience directly related to cloud computing (i.

e. Azure, AWS, Private) Azure networking includes Express Route, VNet, Virtual WAN, VPN, NSG, Load Balancer, BGP, routing, and firewall concepts (Fortinet, Check Point, etc. ) Fluent in Power Shell and ARM Templates, Azure Bicep as well as experience with Python. Experience collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets. Exemplary communication, analytical skills, and technical knowledge across the client environment. Reports to Senior Manager, Cloud Architecture & Engineering #LI-Remote Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$105,000-$172,200Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
