Beginning with the quoting phase and continuing through design, assembly, and field support, the M. E. works to ensure customer needs are met and company goals are achieved by developing mechanical designs that are practical, robust, and adhere to budget and schedule constraints. Standard and reusable designs are developed as well as custom projects specific equipment. Communication and coordination
with other engineers, customers, project managers, the purchasing department, vendors, and assembly personnel is essential. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing the Lead Mechanical Engineer with the ongoing status of assigned engineering projects.
The person in this position must facilitate the team concept. Qualifications Required: Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience will be considered.
