Investigator (PI). Read the literature to understand and contribute to improving our experiments and analysis. Contribute to data analysis. Assist in the preparation of research documentation, reports, and manuscripts as necessary.

Contribute to maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities. Construct, manage, and coordinate usage of new experimental equipment, techniques, and methodologies. Ensure departmental protocols are carefully discussed, documented, and stored. Contribute to training members of the lab in experimental procedures. of education and experience. Required Qualifications: Minimum of two years of highly relevant experience.

Experience with recruitment, screening, and enrollment of participants in research directly related to human physiology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn new and varied skills quickly. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to maintain a safe, healthy, and functional working environment in the lab. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Knowledge of standard laboratory methods in human cardiovascular and autonomic physiology and sleep measurement including but not limited to: vascular ultrasonography, electrocardiographic and blood pressure variability and responsiveness to sympathoexcitatory stimuli, blood and peripheral blood mononuculear cell sample processing and analyses such as ELISA, cell culture, etc.
