of executive recruitments in support of the CCOM Executive Dean's Office and UI Health Care. Work closely with the central university and CCOM leadership to ensure the goals of each recruitment are effectively met. Including coordinating all activities for the search committee, working with candidates and departments to create itineraries, planning various events (including seminars), managing all documentation and process requirements, coordinating institutional communications, and serving as a personal " ambassador" and guide to all visiting candidates, assisting with development of offer letters, and other duties as necessary and/or assigned.

Percent Time: 100%Duties to include:

Operational Support and Management: Support the daily operations of the CCOM dean's office, including coordination of specialized events and activities, appropriateness of expenditures, contract or grant requirements, and changes in policies and procedures.

May require advanced knowledge and expertise in specific office, project, or program to provide administrative/ operational support and management. May make decisions and exercise a high level of autonomy while typically performing administrative support/ management responsibilities for executives of an organization including managing schedules, correspondence, and travel arrangements. Human Resources (HR): Lead the coordination and

administration of executive recruitments in support of the CCOM dean's office and UI Health Care.

Work closely with the central university and CCOM leadership to ensure the goals of each recruitment are effectively met. For executive recruitment searches represent the hiring department's needs by gaining an in depth understanding of the department's values and culture. Generate applicant pools by initiating requisitions to post new and vacant positions, and prepare associated internal/external advertisements. Assure compliance with all federal and state regulations throughout the recruitment/hiring process. Serve as an administrator for all assigned job searches and schedule and assist in candidate interview.

Provide expertise of institutional policies and guidance for interview questions, assuring compliance with applicable regulations. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external constituents as related to the recruitment process (e. g. senior leadership, hiring managers, 3rd party recruitment firms, etc. )Utilize a variety of tools/techniques (e. g. social media, advertising, direct contact, job fairs and community outreach) to drive employer branding and recruitment marketing campaigns and events. Coordinate screenings of resumes or scheduling/coordination of phone/video screenings.

Coordinating all activities for the search committee, working with candidates and departments to create itineraries, planning various events (including seminars), managing all documentation and process requirements, coordinating institutional communications, and serving as a personal " ambassador" and guide to all visiting candidates. Assist with reference checks. Assist with negotiation communications as needed. Assist with finalization of offer letters for chair recruitments. Knowledge of University of Iowa and Office of the Provost policies and procedures involving faculty recruitment.

Initiate HR transactions at the request of others. May provide functional and/or administrative supervision for students/temporary staff. Financial Responsibility: Initiate purchasing requests for supplies and equipment. Monitor accounts/expenditures; reconcile statements. Strategic Planning: May assist in the coordination/preparation of strategic plans in support of the Dean, Director, DEO or VP. Establish timelines, remind contributors, proof and edit. Information Management: Typically is the primary contact for the Executive Dean's Office by providing information and responding to inquiries.

Gather and provide information using available resources. Communications Management: Prepare and administer correspondence. Serve as liaison to faculty, staff, students, alumni and public concerning inquiries or complaints requiring interpretation of policies, procedures and programs. May serve as primary contact for building maintenance and facilities management. Education Required A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Required Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to details is required. 6 months of related human resources experience with recruitment responsibility is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications is required. Demonstrated experience and ability with providing excellent and timely customer service is required. Previous high volume recruiting experience is required. Requires occasional attendance at meetings, functions or events outside of normal working hours. Valid driver's license and ability to meet UI risk management driving requirements.

Ability to escort individuals, such as VIPs and candidates, to various offices on campus is required. Desired Qualifications: Previous experience in recruitment of healthcare professionals is desirable. Working knowledge of state and federal regulations and laws affecting human resources, particularly those related to recruitment is desirable. Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures is desirable.
