Requirements: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid Alaska State Certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with special education students and their families Knowledge of relevant local and state regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Responsibilities: As a School Psychologist, your primary responsibilities will include: backssment

and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychological backssments to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement. Collaborate with educators and parents to develop intervention strategies based on backssment results.

Counseling and Support: Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and social concerns. Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive environment for students. Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions for students with diverse learning needs. Provide guidance on academic and behavioral

strategies. Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and interventions.

Collaborate with school staff to develop crisis prevention and response plans. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of backssments, interventions, and counseling sessions. Prepare reports and documentation required by local and state regulations.
