cia l field Experience in research, analysis, or instruction of key nation states’ or INDOPACOM nations’ military strategy, operations, and tactics Experience communicating with senior military and civilian offi cia ls including flag officers and senior executives Experience working with foreign nationals and recognizing cultural differences and learning styles Knowledge of military capabilities and national command authority Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of time Ability to speak, read, and write in one or more East Asian regional languages Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Additional Qualifications: Experience in instruction or teaching Experience in East Asian military history,

international relations, or deterrence in an academic environment Experience with Combat Experience conducting or leading USINDOPACOM security assistance operations Experience as an East Asia Foreign Area Officer ( FAO ) Experience conducting or leading intelligence support to USINDOPACOM or East Asia topic areas Experience conducting or leading USINDOPACOM or East Asia operations and exercises and East Asia planning efforts Experience writing original content on East Asian regional security issues TS/SCI clearance Master’s degree preferred ; Doctorate degree a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD).
