We provide care for children 6 weeks-pre-k/4K. We also offer a summer camp for children age 6-12. Our Program benefits from a play based High/Scope curriculum. Teachers plan
their own classrooms individual weekly lesson plans including incorporating our downtown neighborhood, the library, Capitol lawn and neighboring museums with guidance and training from in-house curriculum coordinators.
Children and staff alike have fun while working and learning. Meals are served family style with a focus on food that is prepared from scratch and fresh, sourcing from our on-sight garden when possible. Classrooms often benefit from support staff reducing staff to child ratios as well as smaller group sizes. Requirements Experience in ECE or related course work is preferred. Have completed high school or its equivalent, as determined by the Wisconsin department of public instruction. Registry certificate or willingness to become a member. Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire. Willingness to complete licensing required pre-service certifications. Nice To Haves Early childhood education experience with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices. Degree or credential in early childhood education or a related field.
