PURPOSE STATEMENT Responsible for set-up and maintaining proper operation of carton forming equipment, uncuffers, bulk scales, vibrator, case sealers, metal checks, and date code printer in packing areas. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES Set-up, change over, and adjust carton formers and case sealers.
Maintain data code printers. Adjust conveyors and guides on conveyors for various size product cases. Inspect and adjust metal detectors for proper operation. Set-up and change build scales for proper packing weight.
Assist Production Department in labeling and rework of product. Develop and implement new change over procedures to improve packing efficiency. Perform periodic equipment inspections to identify worn parts of malfunctions requiring maintenance support. Insure proper supplies are in appropriate areas to prevent down time. Keeps work area clean and orderly, in compliance with GMP standards. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal

Perform work and machine set-ups and operate all tool room equipment including; lathes, drill presses, vertical milling machines, TIG Welding, cylindrical and surface grinders.
Perform bench work such as; component disassembly, precision fitting, polish, assembly troubleshooting, and adjustments using a variety of hand tools. Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in injection mold troubleshooting, retrofits, improvements and repairs. Journeyman or equivalent years of experience in tooling. LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be fluent in English. Able to read/write routine reports and correspondence.
